Position: **Youth Support Housing Coordinator**
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Compensation: $36,000-$40,000
- Working Hours: Evening shifts from 4:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional in-state and potential out-of-state travel
- Reporting Structure: Directly reports to the Program Coordinator
MISSION: Implement trauma-informed care and positive youth development strategies, ensuring a housing-first model that prioritizes client needs and strengthens family relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily case management for clients at the youth support housing facility
- Create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all young individuals
- Build trusting relationships with youth participants
- Offer essential support services, including academic assistance and life skills training
- Conduct regular goal assessments and connect youth with community resources
- Engage in training programs and maintain accurate program records
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma; Associate's degree in relevant fields preferred
- Experience: Ideally three years in a related role
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Cultural awareness and a sense of humor
- Familiarity with public assistance programs, mental health resources, and child welfare systems
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Proven self-motivation and effective time management skills
