Job Description
The PRN Physical Therapist position is an opportunity for independent contractors to fill in their existing work schedule or work on part-time hours, based on the staffing needs of our clinic(s). This role allows individuals to dictate their own availability and work at commutable clinic locations. As a Physical Therapist, you will assess each patient, develop a plan of care, safely implement, and modify plans as necessary, adhering to American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient evaluations to develop treatment plans with measurable goals and time frames.
- Document treatments and provide documentation per policy and procedure.
- Ensure other treating medical professionals have necessary information to evaluate patients' functional ability.
- Communicate regularly with physical therapy patients, setting expectations for return-to-work and emphasizing education and motivation for compliance with established treatment plans.
- Meet with the Market Director of Physical Therapy and other staff to discuss quality of patient care, procedures, records, review of policies, attend training sessions, and other issues as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure with the State Board of Physical Therapy.
- CPR or BLS Certified or ability to obtain.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
