Job Opportunity

Calhoun's Banquets and Catering is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join their Neyland Drive location.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing products for the station, maintaining accuracy of product temperatures, and ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. Additionally, they will need to perform all food procedures correctly and ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients according to menu specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ensure accurate product temperatures
  • Perform all food procedures correctly
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly

Requirements:

  • Team player with a sense of humor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Math skills and understanding of basic conversions
  • Ability to use a digital scale and thermometer
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and more on occasion (with assistance)
  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Prefer kitchen line experience
  • Ability to follow recipes
