Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and empathetic Clinical Therapist to work in our outpatient substance use disorder treatment program. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, and be registered with the Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS).
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients based on their individualized assessments and treatment plans.
- Facilitate intakes, orientations, comprehensive assessments, and crisis management.
- Develop and maintain treatment plans, transition plans, and progress notes for clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Document all individual and group counseling sessions, attempts to contact, and completes discharge paperwork in a timely manner.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current registration with the Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS).
- Valid California driver's license.
- Knowledge of substance abuse recovery principles and resources.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
