Momentum for Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive assessments, case conferences, treatment plans, and strategic interventions to ensure quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and participate in crisis intervention and provide clinical supervision and direct services, as assigned and within scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in cooperation with clients and their families.
- Facilitate and/or lead groups through rehabilitation counseling processes that help develop and strengthen life, coping, and independent living skills.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical records and other required documentation.
- Master's degree in the mental health profession and one year's experience working in human services settings.
- Current licensure from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or current licensure from the California Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Licensed PhD or PsyD).
- First Aid Certification or successful completion of First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire, if assigned to residential facilities.
- Meet government and/or regulatory standards for continuing education credits and recertification, including a minimum of 20 hours of directly related professional training, if assigned to a residential facility.
- A competitive package of employee benefits for 30 to 40-hour week positions.
- A defined contribution amount of up to $13,787.80 per year (prorated for part-time employees working less than 40 hours per week) to purchase the benefits of your choice on a cafeteria plan basis.
- A retirement plan with a generous employer match starting at 4% after one year of employment.
- Paid time off, including vacation time accruing up to 25 days per year, 6 days of sick time per year, and 12 paid holidays.
