Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound procedures and evaluating data for Cardiologist interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine echoes, including color flow, pulse wave, and continuous wave Doppler, stress, echo, pharmacologic stress, and TEE.
  • Use contrast echo agents and have a detailed understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology, and pathology.
  • Relate findings into clinically meaningful data and have a strong understanding of hemodynamics.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in Cardiac ultrasound
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI
  • BLS

Work Type:

Per Diem As Needed
