Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team of software engineers to develop and maintain software applications
  • Work through the implementation, integration, testing, and deployment phases of project delivery
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure technical design and associated design documentation are understood
  • Execute and report assigned project tasks over the development cycle
  • Collaborate with team members across domains and geographical locations
  • Ensure the quality of deliveries and adherence to processes and practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in payments and financial services, internet-based services, or software products
  • Highly competent hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Linux/Unix, source control tools (preferably GIT), software design and development methodologies (agile), OO-based analysis and design, database design (Oracle/MySQL), and algorithm design
  • Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) such as Camunda Process Engine is a plus
  • Highly analytical, innovative, and able to think strategically and develop software based on requirements/specifications
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
  • Highly effective at working in cross-functional and cross-geographical organizations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse cultures
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and adapt to changes
