About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Licensed Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health San Diego. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and families in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create treatment plans for clients
  • Provide individual and family therapy using a range of modalities, including play therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of improving access to quality mental health care
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session according to company guidelines and protocol
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • Passion and experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Knowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative child development and psychopathology
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems
