About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Hire With Jarvis. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Quality Assurance Strategies

Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive software quality assurance and testing strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Analyze Software Requirements

Analyze software requirements, develop, and perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to identify and report defects.

Design and Execute Test Automation

Design, document, execute, and maintain test automation scripts and test cases to ensure efficient and effective testing.

Develop and Maintain Test Plans

Develop a repository of test plans and detailed functional test cases to cover all use-cases and ensure comprehensive testing.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with software development and product management teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.

Support DevOps and Software Releases

Support DevOps with software releases through test, staging, and production environments to ensure smooth deployment and delivery.

Other Key Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of the software development team.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4+ years of software QA experience delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable SaaS applications.

Technical Skills

Strong technical domain knowledge of quality assurance processes and methodologies, including experience with test automation tools like Selenium and Jenkins.

Agile Methodology

Experience working in agile software development life-cycles with Jira, Confluence, and Git.

Soft Skills

Critical thinking, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements

Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform & Services, application performance management tools like JMeter and BlazeMeter, UI/UX design principles, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, and software release management.
