Job Summary:
Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in a local manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality products in a timely manner with minimal scrap and failures.
- Learn and follow work instructions, identifying and reporting equipment problems in a timely manner.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and reports related to work orders.
- Advise supervisors of any problems or issues that arise.
- Set up welding equipment for successful production of quality hoses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or material problems in a timely manner.
- Follow production specifications and procedures to ensure quality products.
- Patrol equipment, materials, and operations to prevent breakdowns and delays.
- Solve and correct material problems.
- Take initiative to help others as needed.
- Have a good understanding of process control and monitoring systems.
- Achieve targets in efficiency, scrap, and recognition of materials used in production.
- Meet quality requirements to produce quality products.
- Plan for setup, operation of equipment, and upcoming changeovers.
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner.
- Follow rules, methods, policies, and procedures of the workplace.
- Learn and follow ISO procedures for work instructions.
Requirements:
- Previous welding and fabrication experience.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
