Job Summary:

Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in a local manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality products in a timely manner with minimal scrap and failures.
  • Learn and follow work instructions, identifying and reporting equipment problems in a timely manner.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and reports related to work orders.
  • Advise supervisors of any problems or issues that arise.
  • Set up welding equipment for successful production of quality hoses.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or material problems in a timely manner.
  • Follow production specifications and procedures to ensure quality products.
  • Patrol equipment, materials, and operations to prevent breakdowns and delays.
  • Solve and correct material problems.
  • Take initiative to help others as needed.
  • Have a good understanding of process control and monitoring systems.
  • Achieve targets in efficiency, scrap, and recognition of materials used in production.
  • Meet quality requirements to produce quality products.
  • Plan for setup, operation of equipment, and upcoming changeovers.
  • Operate forklifts in a safe manner.
  • Follow rules, methods, policies, and procedures of the workplace.
  • Learn and follow ISO procedures for work instructions.

Requirements:

  • Previous welding and fabrication experience.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
