Job Description:

The Office Technician performs complex clerical work under the general direction of the Legal Support Services Supervisor I. This includes receptionist and mail room duties, requiring a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality.

Responsibilities:

  • General typing and other work as required.
  • Receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
  • Mail room duties, including sorting and distributing mail.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Working Conditions:

Position exists in Sacramento.

Special Requirements:

  • The position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications.
  • Applicants must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming their ability to meet the minimum typing speed.

Additional Information:

The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.
