Hennepin Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a highly skilled Nephrologist to join our team. As a Nephrologist at Hennepin Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of our comprehensive kidney care program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with kidney disease, including those requiring dialysis or transplantation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in clinical research and education to advance the field of nephrology
- MD or DO degree
- Current or eligibility for license to practice as a physician in Minnesota
- Completion of an ACGME, AOA or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited training in Residency training program in Internal Medicine as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws
- Completion of an ACGME, AOA or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited training in Fellowship training program in Nephrology as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws
- Board certification in Nephrology is required within 4 years of completing training
- At least one year of direct Nephrology experience in an ambulatory/inpatient setting
- Transplant experience or training
