Job Description
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in family medicine, with a proven track record of leadership and management. They will be able to demonstrate strong clinical capabilities, with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining and treating patients, prescribing and administering medications, performing routine vaccinations, and providing advice on personal health and hygiene. They will also be required to coordinate work with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to hold a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree, be licensed in the state of Oklahoma prior to start date, and have completed a three-year family practice residency. Board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine is required within two years after completion of residency training. You will also need to demonstrate outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment, with a strong focus on collaborative team-based care.
Salary and Benefits
