Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance processes, including automation and manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, and building upkeep.
  • Motivate and coach a team of technicians to achieve operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver the facilities maintenance roadmap and set standards for operational efficiency.
  • Manage outside vendors and facilitate planned and unplanned repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance regulations and maintain a list of contractors for emergency repairs.
  • Identify problems and brainstorm improvement ideas for the fulfillment center.

Requirements:

  • 0-2+ years' experience managing facilities maintenance/operations and reliability in the Food/Beverage/Perishables/Distribution industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Interest in working on the shop floor and collaborating with all levels of staff.
  • High level of integrity and ethics with excellent follow-through.
  • Aware of OSHA regulations and compliance.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
  • Exposure to mechanical, electrical, automation, and refrigeration systems.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and/or nights.
