Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Cummins. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Precision Assembly: Ensure that components are assembled accurately and efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and contribute to optimizing assembly processes and increasing productivity.
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to ensure that all products meet Cummins' stringent quality requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to foster a collaborative environment that enhances overall team performance.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor new associates, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest manufacturing techniques and technologies to contribute to the continuous improvement of the assembly process.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work with heights and pass a physical for breathable air equipment.
- Work Schedule: Must be willing to work evening shift with some overtime.
