Food Service Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Lead to join our team at the Spring Creek Correctional Facility. As a key member of our institutional dining team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and kitchen assistants.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our inmates and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a correctional setting.
