We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action. As a key member of our WIC program, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition education and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional status of WIC clients and provide personalized guidance to promote healthy eating habits.
- Develop and implement effective nutrition education programs to address the unique needs of our community.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions and program outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and public health.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Licensure in the State of Rhode Island (preferred).
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- A competitive salary of $22.00 per hour.
