  • Electrophysiology Technicians play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
  • As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating equipment, and assisting physicians during electrophysiology studies.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures by explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and attaching monitoring devices.
  • Operate electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, Holter monitors, and other medical equipment to capture cardiac rhythms and monitor patient status.
  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, including catheterization, ablation, and implantation procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data, including ECG tracings, blood pressure readings, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Possess a current state license as an Electrophysiology Technician and have at least 2 years of recent experience in the field.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week is available, with tax-free stipend amounts to be determined.
  • Weekly pay, holiday pay, and a 401(k) retirement plan are included in the benefits package.
