Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced human services professional to lead our Host Home program. The successful candidate will have management ability, energy, and focus to run a thriving program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and assist Program Supervisors with implementation of plans across all shifts
  • Manage individual rights implementation
  • When applicable, implement system and oversee management of individual's funds and property; audit, monitor, and review individual's financial accounts
  • Take immediate steps to correct potential safety concerns and limit the potential for continued concern or incident
  • Maintain and foster communication and relationships with individuals, families, case managers, managed care contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate with the general community, neighbors, competitors, and other outside organizations
  • Participate in building relationships with local legislators and government officials
  • Personnel/Supervision
    • Assist with recruitment and interviewing of all staff
    • Approve hire of Program Services Clinical Coordinators and other staff members
    • Oversee indirect staff members
    • Organize and implement on-site orientation and training for assigned programs; monitor training compliance and documentation
    • Review and approve annual Program Services Clinical Coordinator and other staff evaluations
    • Handle termination of Program Services Clinical Coordinators and other staff members as necessary
    • Conduct monthly staff meetings
  • Financial Management
    • When applicable, approve purchase of food, supplies, and equipment
    • May direct the recruitment of Mentors, coordinate pre-service education of providers, conduct assessments during the assessment and final home certification, facilitate the matching process, ensure compliance with the annual recertification of homes
    • Ensure appropriate matching of individuals served with the appropriate independent contractor-provider
    • Oversee the coordination of program services for the individuals receiving services, their families, and providers
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Five years of experience in Human services-related role and field - AND - At least ONE YEAR of experience in a supervisory/management role in Human Services agency
    • Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance
    • Pass required background checks, physical and TB testing
    • On-Call Availability - after hours and on weekends for emergency purposes only
    • Full-time position (40 hours/week) with schedule Mon-Fri during daytime hours
