Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Japanese Language Expert

Actus Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor with expertise in Japanese language to oversee all functions of maintenance for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical aptitude, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure team members follow safety procedures and conduct monthly safety patrols.
  • Maintain equipment and facility in good repair, including periodic examination and mechanical repairs.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules with documentation.
  • Order replacement parts and maintain minimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work area, wearing required personal protective equipment and following safety procedures.
  • Analytical thinking, mechanical aptitude, and manual dexterity are essential, as well as knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instruction manuals.
  • On-the-job training will be provided, but the candidate must be willing to take courses to stay up-to-date with new technology.
  • Track personnel absences, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and training requirements.
  • Approve time and evaluate Team Leaders' improvement.
Requirements:
  • Japanese and English language skills.
  • Ability to see objects closely and from distance, with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be familiar with all manufacturing equipment.
  • Self-motivation and good organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer, calculator, copy machine, telephone, fax, voice mail, emails, printer, and use of Word and Excel programs.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a climate-changing work environment.
  • Analytical thinking skills are essential, with some mechanical abilities required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines through effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work off-shift as necessary.
