Transportation Construction Inspector Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor to join our team at TranSystems. As a key member of our infrastructure inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and quality control plans.
- Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and consultants to receive instructions and assignments.
- Complete daily progress reports and work sheets to track project progress.
- Participate in daily huddles with field staff to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Request assistance from managers or supervisors as needed to ensure compliance with contract requirements and established standards.
- At least one year of experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS 1) or higher.
- Alternatively, six years of transportation construction inspection experience with relevant certifications.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management may be substituted for experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage multiple perspectives and encourage reciprocal learning among team members.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment that values diversity and equity.
