Position Overview:

As a key member of the financial team, the Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and strategic objectives of the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning: Develop and manage annual budgets and financial requests in collaboration with department leaders. Prepare regular financial reports and communicate funding availability and allocations to stakeholders.
  2. Financial Analysis: Oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy for both internal and external reporting. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and project future financial performance.
  3. Process Improvement: Evaluate existing financial processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Assist in developing business cases for new revenue-generating initiatives and ensure transparency in operating expenses.
  4. Database Management: Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring accurate entry of funding account information in collaboration with relevant personnel.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance with at least 5 years of experience in higher education financial management.


Skills and Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of financial theories and practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead and guide others in financial operations.
