Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced control technologies for gas and steam turbine applications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design engineers to identify control system requirements and drive equipment specifications for optimal controllability.
  • Write, test, and develop specifications for turbine application software.
  • Ensure accountability for timely project performance, milestones, customer deliverables, and adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Lead software acceptance testing in collaboration with clients.
  • Assist Engineering Services personnel in resolving technical field issues.
  • Manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
  • Review and interpret client specifications effectively.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Controls Engineering.
  • Experience in the power generation sector.
  • Familiarity with Mark*VI, Mark*VIe, and Cimplicity systems.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based with occasional involvement on the shop floor.
  • Significant telephone and computer work required.
  • Work in heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines, including potential early arrivals or late departures.
  • Standard work hours typically consist of 8-hour days, with core hours from 9 AM to 4 PM.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
