Care Attendant

At Knute Nelson, we are committed to enriching the lives of everyone we serve. As a Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality personal care and ancillary services to residents in our assisted living environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Resident Living and Life Enrichment: Maintain a safe and comfortable environment that promotes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents. Encourage participation in activities that enhance their quality of life and independence.
- Resident Care and Services: Provide individualized care with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with meals, restorative care, and life skills based on resident preferences and regulations.
- Admissions: Welcome new residents and their families, ensuring a smooth transition to our community. Provide orientation and support to help residents feel comfortable and welcomed.
- Customer Meals: Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning, promoting a positive dining experience for residents.
- Homemaking and Laundry: Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment, including laundry and linen services, to support residents' independence and dignity.
- A Minnesota CNA certification is preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living.
- Critical thinking, interpersonal effectiveness, and teamwork skills are essential.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
LPN or RN
