We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pocono Mountain Recovery Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients struggling with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met.
- Provide therapeutic communication and professional interaction with patients, visitors, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress thoroughly and accurately.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- One or more years of nursing experience within a clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred.
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by the state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
