Job Summary:

The Student Support Paraeducator is a vital member of the St Cloud School District 742 team, responsible for maintaining a safe and structured environment for students. This role requires the ability to observe student behavior, report concerns to administration, and maintain confidentiality of student records.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a structured environment to ensure student safety and engagement
Observe student behavior in various settings and report concerns to administration
Maintain confidentiality of student records and follow district procedures for discipline and reporting
Provide relevant information to staff upon request and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Basic First Aid training within 3 months of hire date
Bilingual and Basic First Aid training preferred

Working Conditions:

The ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; may be exposed to adverse weather. Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, and seeing.

Light Work:

exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
