Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and setup of operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience for patients.
  • Perform various tasks, including preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and handling surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure that all necessary information is shared and that the surgical procedure is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from a surgical technician program preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • CVOR Tech experience required.
