We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Supervisor to join our team at Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo. As an Eligibility Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our program eligibility department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Oversee the processing of federal waitlist and state applications to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with policy and procedure development related to program eligibility to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct eligibility audits, review case files, and prepare reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise program eligibility specialists and provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance their performance.
- Participate in recruitment, outreach, waitlist management, and enrollment processes to ensure effective program delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and data for audits and monitoring to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
- Manage a reduced caseload and conduct eligibility interviews and case management to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Associate's Degree or higher in a related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Program Eligibility Specialist or Program Eligibility Lead.
- OR 3 years of experience in administrative functions, case management, eligibility determinations, or related experience.
- 2 years of experience with federally funded programs.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Bilingual/Biliterate in English and Spanish (Required).
