Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team at the Hualapai Tribe. As a Paramedic, you will provide direct services and advanced life support care to victims of injury and illness in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prehospital advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
  • Operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Document patient care and treatment in accordance with departmental policies
  • Participate in training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry standards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • NREMT - Paramedic certification
  • Arizona class D Driver's License
  • COVID-19 vaccination record required or an exemption prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in fire science, public administration, or related field
  • ICS 300, 400 certification
  • Paramedic Fireline (EMPF) certification
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment, with exposure to hazardous materials, fire, and other safety risks. The employee must be able to lift, carry, and move patients and equipment, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
