Job Description:

The Maintenance Equipment Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment for a coil coating, slitting, and warehousing facility. This full-time position is based in New Carlisle, IN and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including inspections, installations, removal, lubrication, cleaning, and related functions.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions and breakdowns.
  • Communicate and work with other maintenance and production personnel to accomplish all maintenance and repair tasks in a timely and safe manner.
  • Review and inspect any repairs or modifications made to equipment performed by others.
  • Maintain accurate and timely written records to communicate maintenance and repair activities to other shifts and the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team and autonomous environment.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
