Position Overview
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Input and review information from various contracts, including scopes of work and associated costs, into NetSuite to create Purchase Orders and manage the approval process through to completion.
- Analyze deliverables and pricing against issued Purchase Orders and address any discrepancies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues related to invoices submitted without corresponding Purchase Orders.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of open Purchase Orders to assess the need for change orders and closures.
- Manage vendor setup and maintenance.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
- Act as Concur Administrator to oversee company credit card accounts, including:
- Activation and deactivation of cards.
- Management of approvers.
- Review of monthly statements from SVB.
- Support employees in submitting their expense reports.
- Validate expense reports against receipts, statements, and policies.
- Collaborate with employees and Concur to resolve any issues.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma/GED required (associate degree or higher preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Basic understanding of contracts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
