Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Ultrasonographer to join our team at Omaha Children's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine ultrasound examinations to facilitate diagnosis and ensure accurate patient care.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including room preparation, patient education, and technical factor selection.
  • Evaluate sonographic images for technical quality and prepare films for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Provide excellent patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited AMA-approved school of Sonography.
  • A.R.D.M.S. or board eligibility, with registry passage within one year.
  • Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Additional certifications in Abdomen and Vascular preferred.
