We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Director of Social Services to lead the social services division at Hover Senior Living Community, specializing in long-term care and skilled nursing. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of our residents, while also providing mentorship and support to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage social services initiatives tailored to the needs of residents in our long-term care and skilled nursing facility.
- Offer personalized counseling and support to residents as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and medical staff to develop comprehensive care strategies for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and industry best practices in service delivery.
- Build and sustain partnerships with community organizations and resources to enhance service offerings for residents.
- Assess and review the effectiveness of social services programs, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Engage with community stakeholders to advocate for the needs of residents.
- Provide guidance and training to staff, evaluating their performance regularly.
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Licensure: Licensed clinical social worker or relevant professional license
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a social services role within a long-term care environment
Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and a compassionate approach to resident care.
