Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Technician to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors, including hard surface and carpeted areas, through regular dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow established guidelines and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform cleaning activities in assigned areas, adhering to quality standards and customer service expectations.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in an outside barrel container.
  • Perform heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, as well as twisting, bending, and reaching, to complete tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 1/2 years' experience in floor care, with on-site training provided.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, cooperate with coworkers and staff, and perform routine, repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
