Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Assist housekeeping personnel with general cleaning and sanitation tasks
  • Support the Chief Engineer in maintaining a safe and efficient hotel environment
  • Operate and maintain various equipment, including hand and power tools, mobile electronic devices, and measuring/diagnostic/testing meters and instruments
  • Coordinate repairs with other trades, offices, and departments affected by all operations
Requirements
  • High School or GED required
  • Previous hotel or similar experience preferred
  • Knowledge of building systems, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow architectural and general engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to noise, confined spaces, dust, and dirt. Must be able to climb ladders, bend, reach, and lift up to 60 pounds.
