Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at MJ Care Inc. as a School-Based Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to children with exceptional educational needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring to inform occupational therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless delivery of occupational therapy services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
