We are seeking highly skilled and caring professionals to join our team in Blair County's premiere crisis program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in consumer service and clinical services under the direction of the Crisis Program Coordinator.
- Respond to mobile crisis calls from community professionals and persons within Blair County.
- Obtain clinical information, schedule outpatient evaluations, and document all duties.
- Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability.
- Work efficiently and independently in crisis settings.
- Support consumers and negotiate appropriate referral services.
- Collaborate with the Clin II for case consultations.
- Meet documentation and complete all required paperwork.
- Complete face-to-face crisis assessments.
- Respond to telephone calls from consumers, community, and natural supports.
- Manage crisis situations effectively.
- Complete case reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with two years of clinical experience.
- OR Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- CCM training required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC).
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting.
- Act 33 with renewal.
- Act 34 with renewal.
- Act 73 FBI Clearance.
