We are seeking highly skilled and caring professionals to join our team in Blair County's premiere crisis program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in consumer service and clinical services under the direction of the Crisis Program Coordinator.
  • Respond to mobile crisis calls from community professionals and persons within Blair County.
  • Obtain clinical information, schedule outpatient evaluations, and document all duties.
  • Provide supportive counseling to consumers to promote stability.
  • Work efficiently and independently in crisis settings.
  • Support consumers and negotiate appropriate referral services.
  • Collaborate with the Clin II for case consultations.
  • Meet documentation and complete all required paperwork.
  • Complete face-to-face crisis assessments.
  • Respond to telephone calls from consumers, community, and natural supports.
  • Manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Complete case reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with two years of clinical experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
  • Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • CCM training required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC).
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting.
  • Act 33 with renewal.
  • Act 34 with renewal.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance.
