Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified individual to prepare, instruct, and oversee clinical education within the Respiratory Care program. This role is essential in promoting the college's mission, particularly in relation to cultural and ethnic diversity.

Key Responsibilities
- Assume accountability for the educational process of students in both laboratory and clinical environments.
- Design and implement specialized learning experiences tailored to the needs of students in the Respiratory Therapy specialty areas.
- Supervise student activities within clinical settings.
- Assess student performance based on clinical outcomes, utilizing both clinical evaluations and written assignments related to patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors and participate in faculty meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a licensed respiratory therapist in the state of Washington.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is necessary.
- Must maintain good standing with the medical facility and department.
- Familiarity with both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and General wards is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience coordinating clinical education in a community-based respiratory care program.
- Background in respiratory therapy within a major medical center.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance respiratory care instruction.
