Technical Diagnostic Specialist

TalentZok is a rapidly growing biotech company seeking a talented Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level service and repair of complex biotech instruments, working closely with our engineering and product development teams to identify and address recurring issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical diagnostics and repair, with expertise in high-throughput or complex lab systems, and prior experience with Quality Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management platforms. A successful Service Engineer will be able to work independently, with keen attention to technical detail, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the Customer Success team and provide clear updates to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrument Diagnostics and Repair: Provide expert-level service and repair of complex biotech instruments, addressing hardware and software issues to restore peak performance across systems.
- Routine Maintenance and Upgrades: Conduct preventive maintenance and apply necessary hardware and software upgrades across internal and external units, managing system calibrations and firmware updates to align with industry standards.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify and address recurring issues, sharing insights that contribute to future product enhancements.
- Customer Support and Reporting: Provide remote troubleshooting and support, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues, and maintaining detailed service logs and communicating regular updates to the Manager of Customer Success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience with complex lab equipment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical diagnostics and repair, with expertise in high-throughput or complex lab systems, particularly in life sciences.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
