Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist

As a skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces - a Benevis company, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures. Your expertise will focus on creating a positive experience for children and young adults, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities:- Anesthesia Administration: You will administer anesthetics to pediatric patients, adapting to different clinical environments and working closely with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation.
- Patient Care: You will provide advanced patient care to patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.
- Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Licensure and Certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing, along with required certifications like PALS, BLS, and DEA.
- Professional Experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
- Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
