Position Summary: The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage a high volume of orders and resolve issues effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service for external clients.
  • Engage in extensive communication with both internal and external customers through order management and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and export contacts to fulfill domestic and international orders.
  • Understand and navigate domestic and export shipping processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer buyers.
  • Contribute to a team environment by providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal teams and supply chain personnel.
  • Maintain effective communication with the business.
  • Proactively manage customer orders and address issues.
  • Oversee the complete order-to-delivery process.
  • Provide emergency coverage during team absences.
  • Assist with SAP testing and serve as the first level of support for AdvanSix CSRs.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree or equivalent experience in customer service within the chemicals industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP (6.0) sales and distribution.
  • 5+ years of experience with the AdvanSix SAP S/D module.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
