Position Summary: The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage a high volume of orders and resolve issues effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service for external clients.
- Engage in extensive communication with both internal and external customers through order management and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with U.S. and export contacts to fulfill domestic and international orders.
- Understand and navigate domestic and export shipping processes.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer buyers.
- Contribute to a team environment by providing support and assistance as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with internal teams and supply chain personnel.
- Maintain effective communication with the business.
- Proactively manage customer orders and address issues.
- Oversee the complete order-to-delivery process.
- Provide emergency coverage during team absences.
- Assist with SAP testing and serve as the first level of support for AdvanSix CSRs.
Qualifications:
- A college degree or equivalent experience in customer service within the chemicals industry.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP (6.0) sales and distribution.
- 5+ years of experience with the AdvanSix SAP S/D module.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
- Proficient computer skills and a willingness to learn new software.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative.
