Position Overview
The Mammography Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting imaging procedures in a proficient and secure manner, primarily serving adult patients.
Key Qualifications
Educational Background
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.
Professional Experience
• Prior experience in Mammography is essential.
• Experience with Digital Mammography is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MQSA/ACR standards is required.
• Ability to operate independently is crucial.
Certifications and Licenses
• Must be an ARRT Registered Technologist as per state regulations.
• Completion of 40 hours of mammography training in accordance with MQSA standards is necessary.
• ARRT Registered Mammography Technologist certification must be obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS Certification is required.
