Job Summary

The Multi-Specialty Imaging Technologist provides imaging services to patients and physicians to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of conditions.

Assists with the performance of diagnostic and technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practitioner.

Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

Responsibilities

  1. Provides imaging services to patients and physicians to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment of a variety of conditions.
  2. Assists with the performance of diagnostic and technical procedures, including percutaneous diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under the direct supervision of a Licensed Practitioner.
  3. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
  4. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of procedures in both radiology and IR.

Requirements

A Multi-Specialty Imaging Technologist is regularly scheduled to work in two of the following modalities: Radiology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Imaging.
