Premier Health Clinical Support Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Premier Health. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and collect vitals, pulmonary function tests, and administer injections
  • Perform EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, and hearing and vision tests
  • Assist with general clinical and procedural patient care under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program and/or Certified Medical Assistant
  • Prior experience in ambulatory healthcare facility preferred
  • Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians
  • Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards
  • CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of HIPAA law
