We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team at Wellpath, a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing quality care to every patient with compassion, collaboration, and innovation. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments and developing plans for patient populations, teaching education classes to persons served and correctional staff, and acting as a nutrition resource in compliance with all applicable dietitian standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identifies and creatively resolves problems, skillfully gathering and analyzing information.
  • Maintains professionalism in all interactions, embracing new ideas, and communicating effectively.
  • Demonstrates clear, persuasive speaking and writing skills, including group presentations.
  • Efficiently manages tasks, ensuring accuracy and quality while adapting to changes.
  • Reliably follows through on commitments, promotes safety, and stays compliant with requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: High school and specialized training for licensing/certification(s)
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with experience within a correctional/detention facility preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current (and must maintain) unrestricted Registered Dietitian license in state of practice, Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS certification through AHA, and Current (and must maintain) lifesaving ACLS certification through AHA preferred
