Role Overview

The School Psychologist plays a vital role in advancing mental health, supporting academic achievement, and promoting positive behavior among students within a school environment.

This position is ideal for a dedicated professional with expertise in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and providing crisis support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, group, and family interventions to special education and general education students, addressing their unique challenges and promoting growth.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention services, including evaluation and referrals to community agencies, ensuring the well-being of students at risk.
  • Administer behavioral rating scales, personality assessments, and projective techniques to inform diagnostic decisions and develop targeted strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to plan, implement, monitor, and assess behavioral and academic intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in psychological principles and practices.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist, ensuring compliance with state and national standards.
  • Proven experience delivering psychological services within an educational setting, leveraging expertise to drive positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital tools, enabling remote service provision and enhancing flexibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel.
Work Environment

This role offers a dynamic blend of on-site presence at the school and remote work flexibility, allowing for adaptable scheduling to meet both in-person and virtual service requirements.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
