Job Summary:

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in need of mental health services. About the Role:

This position is located at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, and involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing medical care and support to patients in crisis. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with a psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

* Assess patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with a psychiatrist and other healthcare professionals
* Provide medical care and support to patients in crisis
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in psychiatric care

Requirements:

* PMHNP-BC certification
* MSN or DNP with post-graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
