Job Title: Patient Care Specialist

About the Role:

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in a psychiatric setting. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide direct patient care, including medical screening exams and stabilization
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care


Requirements:

  • NP or PA certification in psychiatry
  • MSN or DNP degree with post-graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
