Job Title: Surgical Technologist Travel Position

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Muskegon, Michigan.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Operating Room Tech in a hospital or outpatient surgery center, assisting with surgical operations before, during, and after the procedure. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in preventing illness, providing moral support, promoting health and wellness, and educating patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep the OR, surgical tools, and equipment for procedures
  • Assist nurses and surgeons with scrubbing in and maintaining sterile conditions
  • Keep up with equipment during surgery and clean the OR after procedures
  • Transport patients to and from surgery
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
