Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to assess their automotive service needs and provide expert recommendations.
  • Utilize sales expertise to effectively prioritize and sell needed services and products.
  • Coordinate service appointments and manage the repair process from start to finish.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions.
  • Collaborate closely with our team of technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent automotive repair shop or automotive dealership as a writer or advisor, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Fluent Automotive Background: Solid understanding of automotive parts, repair, and service procedures.
  • Organizational & Focus Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions and interruptions.
  • Computer Knowledge: Proficiency in using Windows-based computer systems, including word processing and spreadsheet software. Typing or dictation skills of at least 30 words per minute.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to effectively communicate over the phone.
  • Math Skills: Basic math proficiency, including the ability to perform calculations using a calculator.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to enter and exit various vehicles independently.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
